Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of KinSpeak (kinspeak.ai). By creating an account or using KinSpeak, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Your account
You must be at least 18 to create an account. Keep your sign-in secure, and let us know right away if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity in your account.
Voices and consent
- You may train a voice only if you are the speaker, have the speaker's written permission, or are legally authorized to act for them (for example, as executor or next of kin of someone who has passed away).
- You may not train a voice from a recording of a celebrity, a public figure, or a minor.
- You may not use a trained voice to impersonate anyone, to deceive or defraud, to harass, or for any unlawful purpose. You may not present generated audio as a real recording in a way meant to mislead.
- If the speaker, or someone legally authorized to act for them, asks us to remove their voice, we may delete it.
- How we collect, use, keep, and destroy voice data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Your content
You own the recordings, scripts, and stories you create. You give KinSpeak permission to store, process, and play back that content only to provide the service to you and to the people you choose to share it with. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload.
Purchases
KinSpeak starts free and offers one-time packs, not subscriptions. Credits are used when a story is generated and are not refundable once used. If a purchase fails to deliver credits, contact [email protected] and we'll make it right.
Acceptable use
Don't break the law, infringe anyone's rights, upload harmful or hateful content, try to get around usage limits, or interfere with how KinSpeak works. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
The service
We work hard to keep KinSpeak running and to make trained voices sound right, but AI-generated audio can be imperfect, and the service is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, KinSpeak is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending your account
You can stop using KinSpeak at any time and delete your account in Settings (or by emailing [email protected]). When an account is deleted, its voice data is destroyed as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll let you know before it takes effect.
